There are a multitude of other sites where you can place a link that will generate some backlink goodness as well as some traffic if your domain name is attractive… sites such as Topix.net will let just about anyone put a link up in their forums area, but it is nothing more than the URL. Do not abuse this or all of your links will disappear. When posting on such sites, be sure to stay on topic and that your link is RELEVANT!
