This site began as a collection of my own tools that I would use on sites that I built to get them started with indexing and building the initial traffic. I have been teaching some others how to quickly and easily generate traffic for their sites, and so thought to put all of my resources in one place so that I can find them easily, but also to help others.

So if you have built your new site, you can now follow the step-by-step instructions to make sure that your site will show up in the search engines and get some beginning traffic. There is a process that must be done one time to optimize the launch of your new website, so follow our plan to do it right!

Launch Your Site

	Validation & Broken Link Check The first thing you should always do before you launch your page is validate the HTML. Then, check for broken links. A page with invalid coding and broken links will be penalized by the search engines.
	Meta Tags You should have optimized meta tags for your site – some people think that this step may be skipped, however, it only takes a few seconds to generate quality meta tags using a Meta Tag Generator.
	Site Review This is the first step of putting your page out there on the web to be found by search engines. After posting a few links on sites that cater to web developers, you can get quickly indexed by Google and the other search engines. .
	Fast Easy Links This step is a bit of a trick, but it still seems to work. This is a way to generate nearly 100 backlinks by merely clicking on some hyperlinks This used to work much better, and there are mixed reviews, but it only takes about a minute to click through the links and in a few cases add some brief info. .
	Ping-O-Matic Pingomatic is a service that will “ping” the major blog engines and search engines. Search engines like to be pinged, so you may do this each time you make substantial changes to your site. .
	Directory Submission Submit your URL to directories starting with the DMOZ and high pagerank directories, and then to as many as you have the patience for. There are some automated submission scripts, but due to excessive spamming, these scripts are slowly disappearing and functionality is inconsistent. .
	Articles This piece of the process is one of the more time consuming, but generates solid backlinks, traffic and search engine indexing. See our listing of article directories sorted by pagerank and linked so that you may quickly and easily upload your articles and gain backlinks.
	Video Production and Posting This will put your site on backlink steroids and over time generate a ton of traffic if your video is well made and interesting. Youtube results score high in Google, so to have a simple video with backlinks to your site is a definite asset. We have included links to all of the major video posting sites worldwide. Post your promotional video far and wide to generate backlinks and traffic.
	More backlinks After you have completed the above tasks, it will be time to put up yet more backlinks. This was put at the end, as it is better if your site begins to show up over a few days or weeks’ time, instead of all at once like a spam site would. You should have accounts at places such as: Linkedin Facebook MySpace Other online communities which allow you to place a hyperlink in your profile.
	Social Bookmarking You may submit your site to the most popular social bookmarking sites, such as: Delicious Google MySpace Digg Stumbleupon OnlyWire Other online communities which allow you to place a hyperlink in your profile.
	Search Engine Submission You may submit your site to search engines, and this is last for a good reason… There are differing opinions on the value of search engine submissions, as the best way for search engines to find your page is from a link on a high pagerank page. Some people do not even bother to submit their sites, you can be indexed faster by Google and other search engines by having your page hyperlinked from a high pagerank site. If you followed our instructions above, you already are! But if you insist, we have submission scripts and links to more submission scripts as well as all search engines.
	Blog Comments Commenting on blogs is a way to increase your backlinks. Join the “dofollow” movement and not only comment on “Do Follow” blogs, forums and sites, but make your site a “do follow” site and enjoy some additional activity as others post relevant comments to your site and build your relevance.
